Sodium Alginate is made from seaweed and is used to thicken dye for hand painting, stenciling, and screen printing. Sodium Alginate SH is used primarily on cotton or other cellulose fibers. SH can also be used on silk when fine line definition is not required. 2 ounce bag.

Instructions
Mix 1 quart water with 1/4 cup Urea. Note: Use approximately 2 tsp Sodium Alginate SH for hand painting and 4 tsp Sodium Alginate SH for screen printing. Slowly sprinkle Sodium Alginate SH over water/Urea mixture, stirring constantly, for 10 minutes (or mix in blender until smooth). Let stand for 1 hour and then stir again. Solution may be stored in refrigerator for months
