An excellent matte protective final varnish for artists dry oil paintings. Dries transparent. Provides a uniformly matte surface. May gray or streak dark toned or impasto paintings. Formulated from damar varnish and beeswax. Gently heat in warm water until clear before using. Must be applied with an extremely soft natural hair brush. Dilutes with either Pure Gum Spirits of Turpentine or Grumtine. Not compatible with odorless paint thinners or petroleum solvents.
