This handmade paper from Japan is a mix of kozo/sulphite, has a neutral pH, and 4 deckle edges. Goyu is ideal for block printing, chine colle’, and sumi painting. Goyu is also used as a hinging paper. It is also an excellent paper choice for platinum/palladium prints, cyanotypes, van dykes, and most other hand coated processes. Paper comes in a natural white color, with a smooth surface, and is semi-translucent when held against bright light. Subtle laid lines from the paper mold are visible. Sheet measures 21″ x 29″ with 16lb weight.
