Gamblin Artist’s Oil Colors – (5.07oz/150ml) Manganese Violet

Gamblin Artists Oils use a binder of alkali-refined linseed oil. This binder results in a strong, flexible paint film, which does not yellow as much as cold pressed linseed oil. Made with the finest refined linseed oils, each color retains the unique characteristics of the high quality pigments, including tinting strength, undertone, and texture. 

Manganese Violet: A good drying color that makes a natural-looking tint, this warm, reddish, semi-transparent violet is made from the compound manganese phosphate, first discovered in 1868.
